About me
Jialin (Daniel) Liu is a grade 11 student studying at the Halifax Grammar School, who has participated in multiple competitions in cybersecurity and computer science. First, I have participated in the CyberPatriot (Cyber Titan) since grade 10, placing in gold division in grade 10 and platinum division in grade 11. In this competition, I mainly focus on the Cisco networking sections and also help in different operating systems like Windows and Linux.
In addition, I have done other competitions with other coding languages like C++, Java, and Python. I have competed in USA Computing Olympiad, placing in the gold rank. I also became proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and other languages for web development. These skills allowed me to build several projects, using large language models, machine learning, computer vision, and data analysis. The first one is a project that uses machine learning and data analysis to best predict one’s future major and career while the second one is facial authentication to better protect one’s security.
