About me
Priya is an accomplished Cybersecurity / Tech / Data professional, advisor and thought leader with close to 20 years of demonstrated experience in IT Strategy, Operational Resiliency & Risk Management with a focus on Cybersecurity, Privacy, Data / AI Governance & Compliance.
She is currently the Information Security Officer at Sheridan College, Ontario. Before moving to Canada, she spent close to a decade advising global Technology and Financial Services organizations in the Bay Area and New York, respectively.
She has a commendable history of both collaborating with Senior Leadership and the Boards of large global companies to formulate robust and agile cyber / risk strategies, and working with the operational teams to implement them, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
She is frequently invited to speak at global summits / conferences including ISACA, ISC2, BlackHat among others - on sharing industry insights, perspective and spreading awareness on cyber risk and women empowerment / diversity and inclusion topics. She has also authored global publications and is deeply passionate about Information Protection and Women Leadership / Empowerment.
