About me
Saikat Asaduzzaman is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over six years of expertise in cybersecurity operations and SOAR automation at Bank of Montreal. Over the course of his career, he has held key leadership roles, including Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Operations - Financial Crimes Unit, and Interim Senior Manager, Event Monitoring and Triage. He specializes in implementing SOAR solutions, streamlining incident response processes, and optimizing security operations in hybrid environments.
In addition to his corporate expertise, Saikat has been an Adjunct Professor at George Brown College for nearly seven years. He teaches courses on Ethical Hacking, Advanced Ethical Hacking, Cryptography, and Incident Response.
Previously, he served as an IT Security Analyst at Magna International, where he gained extensive experience in hands-on security operations. With a strong background in both practical and academic settings, Saikat excels at leading cybersecurity initiatives and leveraging automation to enhance security operations.
