A pioneering cyber-educator in Canada, Timothy was the first teacher in the country to become cyber operations instructor qualified, and the first with MITx's Quantum Computing certification. Winner of the Cisco Networking Academy alumni innovator and shooting star awards in 2023 and 2024 International Security Journal global leadership award winner for mentorship, Timothy has presented research on emerging technology in the cyber domain at the Global Conference for Cyber Capacity Building in Accra, Ghana in 2023 and again at conferences across Canada (including ATLSECCON) in 2024, concluding with another international talk with CISAN in Mexico. In the fall of 2024, you could find Timothy in Washington DC and Santo Domingo on panels talking about cyber evolution to emerging technology threats with the Global Forum for Cybersecurity Excellence and the Organization of American States. When all that isn't going on, Timothy is diligently trying to raise the quality of cyber-education in Canada.
